Add an email account in cpanel

Step 1
Log onto cpanel by going to http://www.yourdomain.com.au/cpanel. Enter your username and password for your web hosting account. You will most likely see a popup login box from your browser (the above example is from Firefox), but you might also see the cpanel login box shown below:

Normally this screen would only appear if you press the cancel button by mistake, or have accessed the login page from the history bar, or a favourite/bookmark.

Click on Mail.

Click on Manage/Add/Remove Accounts.

From this page you can alter any aspect of your email accounts. Adding and deleting accounts are very easy. Be very careful when deleting an account because you will permanently lose any mail left in that account. Click on Add Account.

Enter the desired username for the mail holder and choose a password that will not be easily guessed. If you wish you can also specify a quota for that mailbox (i.e. how much space that user is allocated) - ensuring you leave enough room for other users. Click on Create to finish the process.
